Given our central location, between two beautiful places Taormina and Giardini Naxos, we included some tourist itineraries, to be able to see and discover, not far from our Villa.

Taormina
Located at 200 meters above sea level Taormina is one of the countries of the most beautiful and characteristic of Sicily so that was known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. Characterized by a particular shape Taormina seems a terrace from which you can admire a breathtaking view: the Isolabella on one side and Mount Etna and the Bay of Giardini Naxos other. In this country blend beautifully Greek styles with those Arabs so as to make visitors feel the history of this charming town. The magnificence of the theater and the ruins of the greek join a Greek-style buildings as Arab Corvaja palace. The country colored flowering balconies which include colorful and vibrant geraniums bouganvilles transform the walk along the Corso Umberto in a tour of the colors and smells typical of Sicily. Giardini Naxos
First Greek colony in Sicily, Giardini Naxos is located at the foot of Taormina and is located halfway between Catania and Messina. Siracusa

Gole dell'Alcantara
The Alcantara Gorges are located in the Valley dell'Alcantara in Sicily. Gorges are high up to 25 meters wide in the most narrow and 2 meters wide in most 4-5 meters, the natural canyons, as commonly thought, it was not carved over thousands of years by water. The most accredited hypothesis is linked to a seismic event that, with a movement sussultorio was literally split in two an old lava flow (attributed all'Etna), allowing water to infiltrate the river inside. This is evidenced by the fact that the structure of the walls (similar in some points to stacks of wood "and others" columns organ) is intact and angular.
Etna
Etna (Mungibeddu or just 'a Muntagna' in Sicilian) is an active volcano which is located on the east coast of Sicily (Italy), between Catania and Messina. It is the highest active volcano in Europe [1] and one of the largest in the world. Its height varies over time because of its eruptions, but is currently around 3340 m. s.l.m. Its diameter is about 45 kilometers.
Once it was known as Mongibello.
